In the heart of Jaipur, amidst the vibrant colors and rich cultural heritage, two best friends, both engineers by profession but fashion enthusiasts at heart, embarked on a remarkable journey to redefine the traditional world of sarees. We discovered our shared passion for fashion and creative arts during our college days. Despite pursuing engineering degrees, our hearts were always drawn towards the world of textiles, colors, and design. The idea of creating a saree brand that blended the essence of tradition with contemporary aesthetics was born during a casual conversation over a cup of coffee.

By profession, we’re both engineers, with years of experience in the tech world. But beyond the numbers, codes, and algorithms, our hearts have always been drawn to the world of fashion. We’ve spent years admiring the beauty of sarees—the intricate designs, the rich fabrics, the artistry—but we noticed something missing: a modern, accessible approach to this iconic garment.

 

That’s when we decided to merge our engineering mindset with our love for ethnic wear and embark on a new journey. Meedha was born out of our shared vision to design sarees that are not only timeless and elegant but also comfortable, versatile, and made for the contemporary woman.
